The first Call of Duty I played was Call of Duty 3. I really enjoyed it being a massive first person shooter fan but once I finished it that was it I never played it again. I never thought about playing the older ones at all, then CoD4 got released this is when I found out just how big the title really is. Working in a Game store does that to you, it shows you what the popular games are so I bought it and I never looked back.
The CoD4 story was amazing being one of the only war games I have played being set in modern times and it also has my favorite levels of any game in it All Gillied Up. CoD4 is one of the few games that made me want to play it on the hardest setting and what a challenge that was, but it was fun because you could not just fly thought it you had to plan your way though. Now the online side of it, I have one word to explain it addictive. It’s that type of game that one more game turns into a 2 hour session. I meet and became good friends with a lot of people while playing CoD4 and we still play together today, you know who you are so I will say hello. You have all types of games for Free for all to Search and Destroy, but I will never forget the carnage that headquarters on shipment caused the word mayhem dont even cut it. The online maps were fantastic from close combat to a snipers paradise, but when the DLC came out what a disappointment. One map pack in its full life, 4 maps and only one good one out the lot, we were all very disappointed. Last on CoD4 we have the Mile High Club, I did not see this coming I went to make a brew only to return to see 30 seconds left and under heavy fire, this level was above all others but on veteran well I am still trying to finnish it.
